Once upon a time..
..i had nice skin.
I was 17 in this picture, and was wearing NO makeup whatsoever..and besides some rosey sunburnt cheeks (which i actually like as i never get colour in my cheeks naturally) there are no blemishes..no spots...no undereye circles...nada.
It makes me feel sad to think that in 2 years my skin could have gotten so bad...& i don't know how. I haven't changed my diet, the things i put on my face...nothing :(
I have the type of skin that scars when i have spots..and NOTHING will get rid of the scarring.
It's really really dry down the center of my nose...yet oily at sides of my nose & on my chin..& sometimes forhead...how on earth has this happened within the space of 2 years?
Any advice or products you think i could benefit from...hell..even tablets haha then do say so.
I'm going to keep coming back to this post for inspiration to get my skin back to this.

I also think that i was happier back then, & that picture was taken on a camping holiday where id been lying in the sun..& i know sun is bad for you skin but mine benefits it completely.

So, originally i said it would be a week until i did this. But a few very impatient people...*cough* Laura & Kelly *cough* haha wanted me to do it sooner, & i was getting a little scared by the amount of questions i already had.
I was also tagged by Helen to do the "20 questions" post, so i'm going to incorporate those questions into this.

Yes, i have one 17/18 year old brother. He is pictured in one of my blogposts.

Do you have any diet plans/tips?
I really don't. If you know me, you'll know that all i eat is food that's bad for you. I do sometimes eat fruit/veg & potato is my favourite food.
Do you workout/How do you stay so slim?
This is going to sound awful, but i don't. I have an extremely high metabolism thus making me slim without having to exercise or watch what i eat. I know alot of people will be like "omg your so lucky" but i'd actually like to be a dress size bigger as i find it very difficult to fit some clothes & i'm sure one day my metabolism will change, and i will put on a million stone from having a rubbish diet now. ;)
Do you have any pets?
I have a goldfish called wasabee. I did have plenty of others but they all died. I think my fish wanted the whole tank for himself and murdered them. Hmph. I also used to have 2 guinea pigs called Milo & Monty. & i LOVED them. Guinea pigs are my favourite animals. They're too cute.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
This will sound boring..but nothing. I like scrapbooking & oraganising things...like my room. I find it theraputic & satisfying, but usually if i have any time on my hands, i just like to chill out with family/friends.

I really wish i wanted to go to uni, but i dont think i do, due to the fact im not too sure what i'd study...

My dream job...hmm..my dream job would be something in the fashion/makeup/interior design industry

Um...my Gcse's were okay, mostly b's, some a's and a few a*'s...i got all A's for my a levels which i was SO proud of.

Do you want to get married later on in life?
Of course, as does every other girl. I have aways been a super girly girl. Had a million dolls and looked after them like they were real babies. & weddings have always been something me & Alex would fantasize & plan out ever since we were about 10. We even know what engagement rings we want. haha. I would never marry the wrong person just for a wedding though. I think what is most exciting about a wedding is knowing the person your marrying wants to be with you forever. Too cute.
Do you have any phobias?
Spiders. But i think i have an extreme phobia of them. Even the smallest of spiders shakes me up so much that i feel like crying/hyperventilating. I never used to be this bad but lately i cant even stomach the sight of one. I had to hoover up a dead on the other day, and it was HUGE. and when i sucked it up..it sounded like i'd hoovered a tennis ball..and the noise gave me goosebumps for days. I also dont really like the sea. I dont trust what's in it.
Have you ever had a near death experience?
I really don't think i have. :( A car nearly crashed into me today...that could be one? Never broken any bones or been to hospital..im pretty boring.
Do you get mad easily?
No, i dont get mad easily. But if someone is being a complete idiot for a while, i will get frustrated & upset..rather than mad...i would get mad if they continued to be a plonker.

I have beeen to..loads of places in the UK. Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Devon, Dorset, Wales...etc etc. Abroad i have been to portugal 4 times, Rhodes once & The Maldives once. Maldives was the most amazing place i've ever ever been. I loved it.
Favourite childhood memory?
Oh gosh i have so many. Me & Alex have thhee most amazing childhood stories. But that would be another post enitrely. haha I remember my grandad used to build boats and playhouses from giant cardboard boxes & me and my cousen & bruv used to think they were the most amazing thing ever. I also remember in the summer, my grandad used to give me & my cuz a "leg & a wing" i dont know if any of you are familiar with that...its when you grab an arm, and the corresponding leg, and just spin round...it freaked me out but was fun.
What was being in Harry Potter like?
Ahhh i get asked this alot. So i will start from the beginning. I was 10 when they first started filming for the first film, and my primary school is in the village they used. So they came & asked everyone in my year (which was probabaly about 7 children) if we wanted to be extras. & of course we said yes. I was in hufflepuff :)
The first year, we were used in Snapes potion class scene. I am not seen in the film annoyingly, but its nice to know i was there. We also got to mingle with the cast, we watched spider man with them. haha & Devon Murray (who plays seamus finnigan) asked me out..haha. i said no. I was 10 years old and boys scared me.
I was also in the second film...again..you cannot see me. I went to london to be on the hogwarts express...which was so exciting.

I try not to overwash it, use serums ALWAYS & never over straighten. Give your hair some breaks. I also never dye my hair, besides the odd highlight here & there, and i had a semi permanent colour put in about 4 months ago..but no extreme dying.

The colour of my natural hair is the colour you see in my photos, and i wouldnt have a clue about the exact highlight colour.
What are your views on plastic surgery?
I say, if it makes you happy, & you've got the money...why not. Just think that some people go a little O.T.T and i dont like MASSIVE fake boobs because they make me feel a bit queasy.
Is florabundance lipglass sticky or is that just the tester?
Lipglasses are a little sticky & the consistency is quite thick with some. But i dont find them unbearable. Maybe it was just because the tester had oxidised alot?
If makeup somehow wasn't invented (:O) what would you replace it with?
Dear meee..haha. I would probabaly just be alot more obsessed with jewellery & clothes & shoes. I'd always find something to obsess over.

Probabaly sometimes..if im nervous. But i never notice until i look down and im like "oh my..where have my nails gone" I mostly just pick them...it's bad i know, but i have horrible nails & they dont grow. Im an acryllics girl all the way.

Is florabundance lipglass sticky or is that just the tester?
Lipglasses are a little sticky & the consistency is quite thick with some. But i dont find them unbearable. Maybe it was just because the tester had oxidised alot?

Dear meee..haha. I would probabaly just be alot more obsessed with jewellery & clothes & shoes. I'd always find something to obsess over.
Do you bite your nails?
Probabaly sometimes..if im nervous. But i never notice until i look down and im like "oh my..where have my nails gone" I mostly just pick them...it's bad i know, but i have horrible nails & they dont grow. Im an acryllics girl all the way.

Re-organised/New Makeup Storage.
This was requested a few times since i got my new makeup storage & i guess is a sortof peek at most of my makeup collection (some is still waiting to be stored away..eek)
Yay, i finally feel quite content with how i store my makeup. It's now easy to find things & i don't have to delve down to find certain colours etc. *satisfied*
[To some this may be a stupid amount of makeup..& to others a small collection..but to me it's just right so no judging please.. :)]

This is my makeup desk thing...it's where i do my makeup :) It looks kinda higgledy piggledy..but i like it.The Draws...

For all you observant peeps, you will notice i have covered these drawers in the same wallpaper that is on my wall in the first picture...It took me a flippin age. appreciate it! :)In the drawer to the left i have mostly miscellanious drugstore lipsticks & in the right mostly Mac but other higher end lippies too.
This drawer houses my many concealers & a few eye creams
Left drawer is Mac shadows (To depot..or not to depot..that is the question?) & on the right is everything else eye related.
On top of the Ikea Drawers...
My brushes which are displayed in a sainsburys pencil holder (if you are wondering why i have randomly plonked black there, i actually have some black in the rest of my room as its cream/black)... & the silver mirrored drawers which house...

Small clear/black hair ties (perfect for the hair plait braid..£1 in primark) & your average brown hair tie.
My coloured hair clips :)So ladies...that is my new storage system in place...& its working fabulously..especially the mirrored drawers as i never really had a system with my hair accessories before. Makes life a little easier & faster & i heart my new silver draws from Tkmaxx. Soo much room & i can see everything! The baskets are just on my other desk which isnt really that interesting as it's just hair/body/face stuff in them. But if you are desperate to see those too i will post the pics up, just didnt think they'd be of much interest. :)
Also, one of my bestie's started up a blog today after i persuaded her..mwaha
So you should go & follow her please, because i know its not nice to start a blog with nobody following you and you feel as if you're talking to yourself haha.

I figured now i have so many new followers, you might all like to get to know me a little better & i think this could be fun.
So ive devised an idea which means you can ask me ANY questions you like,
they can be about makeup, personal life, hobbies..absolutely anything. (within reason haha)
I will give you a week to get your questions in & i will answer them in a blogpost.

June Favourites.
I know it's the 2nd July, but i never managed to pop this in at the end of June.
So..here are my June Favourites.
The selection of items i have been LOVING this month...
Palmers Cocoa Butter - Skin Soothing Lotion
This stuff is amazing. It has Shea butter & Alpha/Beta Hydroxy which removes dead skin cells to reveal healthier looking skin. I LOVE palmers. If any of you aren't familar with the range, i highly suggest you check it out. There lotions are so moisturising & I highly reccomend them. Their gradual tanner is one of my HG procuts. This lotion isnt too thick in consistency & sinks into the skin really quickly, & it really does remove dead skin cells. It smells yummy too.
Bare Escentuals Skin Revver-Upper
I have already done a review on this product, which you can find HERE. I have been using it everyday under my moisturiser & it has made a noticeable difference to the appearance of my skin.
St Moriz Fake Tan
Now, i have only recently had this product but i can safetly say, that it is the easiest, nicest fake tan i have ever used. It dries quickly, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy & more importantly, IT WORKS! You can get this in some tkmaxx's & Home Bargains but i never saw any in my nearest Tk Maxx & i don't have a Home Bargains anywhere near me so the ever so lovely Kelly sent it on over to me. The most amazing thing about this FAB fake tan..is the price. It's £2.99. Quite a massive decrease from St Tropez isn't it?
It did leave my bedsheets a little orange, & does have a slight fake tan smell...but it's nothing unbearable like most & the orange-ness didnt stain the sheets & washed straight out so i think for £2.99 its worth it :)
Body Shop Shimmer Cubes
These gorgeous eyeshadows have really impressed me. I was sent the smokey one by the Body Shop to test & review & the other i picked up for 40p at the bootsale.
The colour's are really pigmented and have a great texture. None are crumbly besides a couple which i found to be a little "dusty" (shall we say).

2True Liquid Liner
I'm not 100% sure of the exact price of this liner, but i know that you can buy 3 products from the 2true range for £5. And honestly..DO IT because this liquid eyeliner, in my opinion..is amazing. I have been using the Rimmel Exxagerate liner but found that when my eyes watered it smudged like crazy & just wouldn't stay put, which is a shame because i loved the applicator. So i scoured my eyeliners & pulled this one out that i had stashed away. I put it on..(with ease might i add) & it did its job marvellously.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Zoom Length Mascara
I got this small tester size mascara in with some freebies when i bought some EL lipsticks a while ago. I wore this mascara to death through the middle of June & slowly stopped using it as i realised it was SO good, it was actually becoming very hard to remove properly. If you are in desperate need of a mascara that DOES NOT BUDGE, whether you have hayfever, or naturally runny eyes, you need this mascara in your life. I really love it but i just didnt think my eyelashes would cope with me wearing it everyday. The formula is good, the brush is good, it just does everything it says on the tube. The price tag for a full size is pretty hefty at £17.50 but really, i think it's worth it. I'm going to be using this for special occasions because i know it works :)

I looove this lipgloss. I love the colour, i love the consistency, the smell. Everything. I think it's overtaken Oyster Girl as my favourite lipglass. :O
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Pink Sand
When purchasing the "vanilla truffle" EL lipstick, the MA suggested that as i liked pinky/nude tones for my lips, i would love "Pink Sand" which i'm sure she said was Gwenyth Paltrow's signature lipstick colour & that she wore it on her wedding day. I have to admit, the packaging doesnt really do it for me, but i love the weight of it. It feels special haha. & the colour is just gorgeous. I prefer it to Mac's Angel. & it has a nice taste/smell too.
BareMinerals Faux Tan

I don't have much else to say aboout this that i haven't already said, other than the fact this is now my HG bronzer...I LOVE it & i use this everyday now. I feel naked without it.
